Project information

Developed at IADE for Tinta da China’s "Design.pt" collection, this editorial project stems from the book Logotipos Portugueses (Portuguese Logos) and takes the form of a cohesive system integrating the front cover, back cover, spine, and interior pages.

Built upon a rigorous grid and a carefully considered typographic hierarchy, the 32-page interior is structured in two parts: the first is dedicated to logos by Sebastião Rodrigues, Carlos Rocha, and António Garcia; the second focuses on unknown designers, thereby recovering the legacy of anonymous Portuguese graphic design.

To enrich the experience, I incorporated a transparent page that reveals different information on each side, as well as an interactive page where the reader can draw their own logo.

The visual language was further extended to two companion volumes—Cartazes Portugueses (Portuguese Posters) and Design de Produto (Product Design)—and to a promotional campaign featuring a fold-out leaflet and three posters.
