Hidden in the Night

Project information
Developed as part of an Audiovisuals course, this project involved creating a horror short film that explores the creative premise of twinship; my twin brother and I played the two lead roles, creating a dynamic of dual identities that challenges the viewer's perception.
The narrative follows a driver who, after his car breaks down at night on a remote forest road, finds an object on the ground that appears to be a mirror. Upon looking at his reflection, something seems amiss—his movements do not match, and an unsettling sense of duality takes hold. What begins as a moment of oddity quickly spirals into a nightmare, where the line between reality and reflection blurs.
The project encompassed storyboarding, night shoots in a natural setting, video editing, and sound design to build an atmosphere of mounting suspense, leveraging the twin dynamic as a narrative tool to generate ambiguity and tension.
